• Rockinsul LRB Mattresses are flexible rock fibre mattresses, stitched with wire mesh and manufactured from stable rock fibres bonded with a minimum quantity of thermosetting resin binder. 
• Rockinsul LRB Mattresses are light weight, strong, resilient, easy to handle and cut to suit intricate shapes

Fire Safety Performance: Rockinsul LRB Mattresses are non-combustible when tested in accordance with IS 3144, BS 476 (part 4), ISO 1182 and ASTM E136 and have the following fire safety rating achievements:

• Class I surface spread of flame in accordance to BS 476 (part 7)
• Class 0 in accordance to the BS 476 (part 6 & 7) and to British Building Regulations

Facing Type: Rockinsul LRB Mattresses are available with a galvanized steel or stainless steel hexagonal wire netting (mesh) on one or two sides

Application:

• Conform to ASTM C-553, C-592 and BS-3958 part 3
• Used in the thermal insulation of large vessels, small machinery, boilers, ducts and plants operating at high temperatures.

Service Temperature:

• Service temperature of 750° C, when tested in accordance with DIN-52271 and ASTMC–411

Fire-Safety:

• Non-combustible, when tested in accordance with BS-476 part-4 and ASTM E – 136
• Class1, when tested in accordance with BS-476 part 7, (ASTM E- 84)

Facing:

• Available with wired mesh on one or both sides in SS or GI

Moisture:

• Non-hygroscopic
• Non-capillary
• Does not absorb any moisture from the air
• Moisture has no effect on the stability of the mattresses

Specifications:
